It’s the day before Independence day here in America — the land of the home and free.

Part of our freedoms as an American, is our freedom of speech.

This freedom is often taken for granted and by most, never full understood, just how important it is to our democratic system.

Democracy and speechmaking were born together.

Brigance (1961) wrote, and since ancient times “we have never had a successful democracy unless a large part, a very large part, of it’s citizens were effective, intelligent, and responsible speakers.”

Teachers use it to educate our children, society and future leaders.

Politicians use it to get elected and then to shape and create policies that govern us.

And you, my presentation pup, should use it to educate the public about chiropractic.

… to influence government policies that impact your industry.

… to fight the propaganda that is being proliferated by your nay sayers.
