2017 Ferrari – $10k Cash – Midnight tonight
It’s the kiss of death.
It’s every experienced speaker’s worst nightmare.
It’s one of the worst things that can happen to you as a speaker.
It’s equivalent to the dating world’s, “he/she’s got a great personality”…
What I’m talking about is:
…After you’ve just giving your all for 60 mins, pouring your heart and soul into your talk…
And afterwards, people come up to you and say things like:
“amazing talk, I really enjoyed it”
“great information, very informative”
“I never knew you were such a good speaker…”
But… they don’t sign up for whatever you’re offering.
It can really take the wind out of your sails. It makes you wonder why the hell you even bother giving talks, right?
Don’t feel bad. This happens to everyone at some point in time.
The good news is it can be fixed
The reason this happens is quite simple.
They didn’t see enough value in what you were offering and didn’t have enough urgency to act, right then.
If you could buy a brand new Ferrari for 10k, with a deadline of midnight tonight, even if you didn’t have the money — you’d find it right?
Value and urgency. Both are relative and both are fixable.
It could be as simple as changing the order of your presentation. Or changing the offer. Perhaps you’re telling your personal story wrong.
